Join us on Friday, August 21st from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Clubhouse for another fabulous Paint & Sip event brought to us by Pinot’s Palette. We will provide all supplies, and drinks. You are welcome to bring your own as well. The cost of this event is $30 per person. This event is limited to the first 40 people to sign up, but we will be creating a wait list as well for any cancellations. Sign up quick before spots are gone! The City of Elk Grove permits the use of only California State Fire Marshal-approve Safe and Sane fireworks during the authorized period of 12:00 PM on July 1 through 12:00 AM on July 5.

Administrative penalties of approximately $1,000 for each illegal aerial firework device launched may be imposed. Because citations are issued on a per-device basis, a single illegal firework containing multiple aerial launches may result in multiple citations.

The Elk Grove Police Department (EGPD) has announced that it will once again deploy drones to assist with illegal fireworks enforcement during this year’s holiday. During last year’s enforcement efforts, EGPD issued more than $250,000 in citations related to illegal fireworks. Residents should be aware that drone operations are expected to occur throughout the city, including in and around this community, to identify and document violations.
