Momma Francie Scholarship Fund The Momma Francie Scholarship Fund was created in honor of the late Francie Basquez. We look forward to working in our community.

The mission of our organization is to award Sacramento area student athletes with a scholarship to further their education. For over 2 decades Francie dedicated her time and money to the Sacramento area softball community. She was a former board member of the Elk Grove Recreational softball league, President of the board for the Elk Grove High School Softball team, and was a founding board member

of the LTG Lions travel team based in Elk Grove. Her belief was that the game of softball should be able to be played by anyone that wanted to play regardless of financial status. Francie was a master fundraiser and made sure that the costs for the players' families were minimal. Unfortunately, this past December we lost Francie to a long fought battle with breast cancer. In the weeks that followed the family was trying to find a way to keep Francie's legacy alive and well. We decided to start this Momma Francie Scholarship Fund. The mission of this organization is to award a Sacramento area student athlete with a scholarship to help aid in the cost of tuition or any expense that comes with going to college. It was Francie's mission to make the game of softball affordable for everyone. Now we at the Momma Francie Scholarship Fund want to make college affordable to any and all students who have the determination to further their education.

September 14th, 2024 is our 4th Annual Francie Basquez Memorial Golf Tournament at Lincoln Hills Golf Club. Check in begins at 7:30 with a 9:00 am shotgun start time. Due to a amazing sponsor who paid for half of the remaining spots we are having a final push to have a full tournament. For $75 which is what you would pay on a normal Saturday at Lincoln Hills you can play a round that also includes:
Range balls, breakfast from Panera Bread, lunch form Thick Vatos and Tacos, swag, automatic entry in the long drive contest, and closest to the pin contest, .
Additionally we will be having on course games with California Golf Events Beat the Pro Challenge, GTS Golf Cannon, Chances to win tickets to the 2025 Masters, $10,000 cash and a dream bucket list of prizes. If you are interested please pm me for more information.

Good afternoon golfers,
We are just 2 short weeks away from our 4th Annual Francie Basquez Memorial Golf Tournament on September 14th at Lincoln Hills Golf Club. All proceeds go towards The Momma Francie Scholarship Fund Nonprofit organization. We have room for 3 full teams and a couple of singles/ pairs. Registration for our 4th annual Francie Basquez Memorial Golf Tournament is now open. The
tournament will held on Saturday September 14th, 2024 at Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Lincoln, California. All proceeds go towards the Momma Francie Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to local student athletes.
This year we will be having our hole in one contest with a lot of different options if you score a hole in one on the sponsored hole. We also will have the longest drive contest with male and female winner, closest to the pin male and female winner, and putting contest 1 winner. We will be awarding 1st through 3rd place.
Your foursome entry in the tournament includes:
Green fees
Cart
Unlimited Non alcoholic drinks
Breakfast
Lunch
Swag bag
Long drive contest (men & women)
Putting contest (1 winner)
Closest to the pin contest (men & women)
Optional unlimited beer pass $20 each golfer.
