Memorial Day Message & Upcoming Lodge Events
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As we gather this Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our great nation. Their sacrifice reminds us of the freedoms we enjoy as Americans and the responsibility we carry to uphold the values they defended. It is a day of reflection, gratitude, and unity as we stand together in remembrance.
Looking ahead to the month of June, our lodge will proudly continue its mission of supporting the next generation. Next month, we will award scholarships to deserving young individuals—our future leaders—who embody dedication, integrity, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow. Investing in our youth ensures that our traditions, values, and cultural pride continue to thrive.
As summer approaches, we are excited about the many events that bring us together as a community. From our upcoming gathering at the Chicago White Sox game on July 7th to the many activities planned throughout the season, our lodge remains a central hub for celebrating Italian American heritage. These events provide us with opportunities to connect, share our culture, and strengthen the bonds that make us not just an organization—but a family.
The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America stands proudly as a place where traditions are honored, friendships are cherished, and memories are made. Together, we celebrate who we are and where we come from.
