Elizabethtown Junior Woman's Club

Elizabethtown Junior Woman's Club The Elizabethtown Junior Woman's Club is an organization dedicated to giving back to their community while developing friendships and self esteem.

The Kentucky Federation of Woman’s Clubs (KFWC) chartered the Elizabethtown Junior Woman’s Club (EJWC) in 1951. Since that time, we have served as an integral part of the community. With this in mind, the purpose of our club is to cooperate with all civic organizations, to promote community service and to study subjects, which are of a particular interest to young women.

And that’s a wrap on our 2025 Holiday Marketplace! 🎁✨

During our February meeting, we officially presented the final two checks to our local partners ECTC Foundation and camptessaky, marking the successful conclusion of our biggest fundraiser of the year. Seeing those funds go where they are needed most is the best feeling!

But it wasn’t all business this month—we also celebrated our friendship with a Galentine’s Glass Painting night! 🎨🍷 We had a blast getting creative together and celebrating the sisterhood.

Keep an eye on our page for more update photos coming soon! 📸

Want to be part of a group that makes a tangible difference (and has a lot of fun doing it) in Elizabethtown? We’d love to have you at our next meeting! Message us for details. 💌

BREAKING NEWS:
Due to the potential for severe cold temperatures this weekend Hardin County Emergency Management will activate temporary warming centers as needed. Due to current weather projections the centers are planned to be available Saturday and Sunday.

A warming center is a short-term emergency site that operates during inclement weather to prevent death and injury from exposure to the elements. These centers are particularly important during extreme cold, as they provide a safe and warm place for individuals unable to seek help due to circumstances such as power outages and stranded motorists.

These sites are not meant to house visitors overnight, but some amenities such as blankets and warm drinks may be available and vary by location. This will offer you the opportunity to stay out of the elements to make long-term arrangements for yourself if needed.

When arriving at one of the following locations if it has not yet opened, there will be a sign posted with a contact number. Once you have called, authorities will arrive shortly at the scene to open the warming center. Please follow our social media pages for more updates.
