Black cats have long been linked in folklore to bad luck, witchcraft and the occult. While these claims are myths, we "paws" black cat adoptions during the month of October to avoid any harm to these sweet souls and to also curb any holiday impulse adoptions. We appreciate your understanding and support.

🐾 World Rabies Day is September 28th, a great reminder to celebrate how far we've come in protecting our pets and our communities.

Rabies is entirely preventable with a simple vaccine, and keeping your dog or cat up to date is one of the easiest ways to keep them safe.

Not sure when they were last vaccinated? We're happy to check! https://plattsburghanimalhospital.com/contact/
