Many Faces of Freedom: A Juneteenth look at Revolutionary America

Wednesday, June 17th 6:30 to 8p

A unique evening of reflection, storytelling & community dialogue as we explore the meaning of freedom - from the American Revolution to the present day with special guests.

Kids' Juneteenth Cooking Class: While families enjoy the program, children & teens can create fun Juneteenth-inspired snacks to serve and share with family and guests afterward.

Panelists feature:
Jacqueline Madison of the North Star Underground Railroad Historical Association, Peter Slocum of the Adirondack History Museum, Ceci Scott, and Laurie House, Director of the Elizabethtown Social Center.

The end of the year approaches, as does our end of year party!
Come out for a bit and let us send you off to summer with some food and fun!
Steve will take a break from his jokes to hear yours as you roast the staff.
But like the food, prepare to get "smoked" by the staff in games.

Senior Circle meets this week, the group loves to exercise, play cards, Mahjong and more. If the weather behaves, we go on walks and get fresh air!

We are happy to announce that our 2026 Bus Trip Weekend to NYC will include seeing the Broadway musical, The Great Gatsby! The Great Gatsby is a "great, big Broadway extravaganza that explodes with life and energy!" November 14th & 15th. Seats are limited, so reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
