To have seen the reunion between the 3 of them, when Joan got her wings, would have been nothing short of spectacular. I imagine to biggest hugs, the biggest smiles, and so much love welcoming her to their “home”.

Beck is with two of his favorite humans. Two people who loved him so unconditionally.

We sure do miss you all down here, but we are thankful you’re all at peace together and keeping an eye on all of us.

Great game ladies! You made Beck proud! Based on the number of dragonflies swarming the field, the monarch that wouldn’t leave, and the gorgeous weather, I’d say he was right there on that sideline.

Come to the annual BEKIND Memorial Cup today and tomorrow at NCCC!

North Country was Becks second home. They were/are part of his family and the place he loved most. How perfect the have a Memorial Cup to honor him at this place that is piece of Beckham. 💚⚽️

The 2.5 year mark has come and gone, and I find myself constantly having reminders and memories come up everywhere. In my phone, in my home, in conversation with others. The memories make me emotional, but they also remind me of how lucky I was to be his mom. The memories are comforting at times, and I would love to hear some of your favorite memories. Feel free to share them in the comments if you feel inclined!

It’s a tough day, and my shaking hands couldn’t get my camera to function fast enough, so I missed the first couple seconds…. The family of Beckham Egglefield would like to give a GIGANTIC thank you to all who braved the heat and the pre-game thunderstorm today.

To all donors: Thank you thank you thank you. You didn’t even come play, but you felt the cause was worth your hard earned money. You keep this foundation afloat and able to help local kids!

To the players: For some of you he was a peer, for some a classmate, for some a friend, and for some just an acquaintance. But for all of you, his memory mattered enough for you to sweat like crazy in honor of him. Thank you.

To the volunteers: we COULD NOT have done this without you all. Brad and Sarah stood over a hot grill in 94° Real Feel temps to make food. Sarah, Heather, Claire and Grace manned the registration table. Justin and Jeannie sold shirts (I pretended to help). Hokey and David reffed, with Kent as the substitute ref. Maddox and Jack helped us get the set up done and even waited out a thunderstorm.

To Ryan Hathaway and Hometown Electric, KZ Farm and Egglefield Bros. Ford: your donations made it possible for all profits to go into the foundation, allowed people to be fed, and put pretty sweet shirts on their backs!

To our girls: We know the chaos of these events for your brother can be time consuming and emotional, and can steal our attention from you a bit. But thank you for always jumping in and helping every single time. We love you.

The biggest thanks (but not to minimize the others) goes to Arin. Without Arin’s uncanny ability to put on events, dictate, remember small details, and allow us to use the center, we would not be able to pull off this event. Arin, thanks for being an actual superhuman. Despite the early morning “we forgot to get balls” text (thanks for coming in clutch, Mika), the “shoot, we never grabbed change”, and the “we forgot to bring out the freeze pops” we made it happen.

Again, thank you all. This entire year has been incredibly hard, but people like all of you help us to know our son is remembered.

I hope I didn’t forget anyone, but I’m overheated and tired, so I may have! Lol SO THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!

It’s on!!!!!
Bring your sneakers, bring your smiles and bring your sunscreen, it’s going to be a hot (but fun) one!

We will continue to monitor the heat, and change things up a bit as we go, if needed, but it looks like we can spend the day on the court!

There will be several pop ups for shade, and there are lots of trees for shade! We will also have water, other ways to stay cool, and freeze pops!
