☀️ SUMMER PE IN THE PARK IS HERE! 🏃‍♀️⚽🌳

Looking for a fun way to keep your child active this summer? Join us for Summer PE in the Park — a weekly program filled with games, movement, fitness activities, teamwork, and FUN that you will not want to miss!

📅 Day: Most Wednesdays (with the exception of June 19th from 10am-12pm)
⏰ Time: 10am-12pm (with the exception of July 22nd being from 2pm-4pm)
📍 Location: Kiwanis Park- Carter Blvd, Elizabethton, TN 37643

✅ Open for registration now!
✅ Fun outdoor activities
✅ Great way to stay active and make friends

⚠️ Registration is limited to 20 participants per session date and will automatically close once spots are filled.

☀️Another wonderful CCDP Field Day in the books! Thank you to all of the Volunteers and Staff who put their hearts and soul into this day.

💦 Also, thank you to Holston Distributing for donating 10 cases of water. We definitely needed it on this beautiful hot day. We appreciate City of Elizabethton Parks and Recreation for letting us use their fields. Lastly thank you to Pizza Hut for the delicious pizza. We can't have a field day without some yummy pizza. Pizza Hut

Before setting out on your summer travels, schedule a professional vehicle inspection or perform a thorough check yourself.

1. Make sure the air conditioning is fully functioning before you set out
2. Inspect your brakes and lights (headlights and taillights)
3. Check your tire pressure and tread depth
4. Is it time for an oil change? Check all fluid levels
5. Make sure wiper blades are in good condition
6. Check for vehicle recalls on NHTSA.gov/recalls

Your friendly drug prevention coalition is offering classes. For youth. For FREE. WITH SNACKS!

These are not your average, run-of-the-mill, sit-in-your-desk classes. They are AWESOME! Improvisation and PE in the Park are instructed by seasoned pros your kids will love! We have 3 options so far this summer with more to be announced soon! Check these out before they fill up!

Congratulations to the Carter County Drug Prevention Youth Coalition's Individual Outreach Project winner, Niko! He won an amazing gift basket complete with Amazon gift card. He and peers went on a hike along Sycamore Shoals where they collected approximately 100 pounds of trash.
