A message from our Heart of the Community Chairman:
Dear Elizabethton Moose Lodge 360 Members,
One of the greatest things about being a member of Moose Lodge 360 is the opportunity to make a difference—not only within our Lodge, but throughout the community we call home.
Our Heart of the Community Initiative is about putting the values of the Moose into
action. We want to be there for children, families, veterans, seniors, and others in our
community who need a helping hand. We believe that sometimes the smallest act of
kindness can make a tremendous difference in someone's life.
But we cannot do this alone.
Our Lodge can organize projects, identify needs, and provide opportunities to serve, but the heart of every successful community effort is our members. Whether you have an hour to volunteer, can donate an item, can make a monetary contribution, or simply spread the word, your participation matters.
You Can Help This Week!
We are currently collecting children's pajamas and duffle bags to help support children who may enter difficult circumstances and need some basic comforts of their own.
A simple pair of pajamas or a duffle bag may not seem like much, but to a child, having something new that belongs to them can provide comfort, dignity, and a sense of securityduring a difficult time.
Please consider helping by:
• Donating new pajamas in the requested sizes.
• Donating a new duffle bag.
• Purchasing a duffle bag through Amazon using the link below.
• Bringing your donations to Elizabethton Moose Lodge 360 this week.
• Encouraging another member, friend, or family member to participate.

Every donation, regardless of size, helps us demonstrate what the Heart of the
Community truly means.
And Let's Have Some Fun Together!
While we work hard to support our community, we also want to take time to recognize and
appreciate the members who make everything we do possible.
We will be hosting a fun-filled Member Appreciation BBQ, with great food, fun,
fellowship, and a chance to win Tennessee vs. Alabama football tickets!
This is our opportunity to come together as Moose members, enjoy some good food,
celebrate what we have accomplished, and simply have a great time together.
You are an important part of Moose Lodge 360, and we want you there!
We have already shown what Moose Lodge 360 can accomplish when our members come together. Now we have an opportunity to do even more. Our goal is not simply to talk about helping our community, we want to be the people our community can count on.
We ask every member to find a way to participate. You don't have to be on a committee.
You don't have to have a lot of money. You don't have to give up an entire day.
Give what you can. Volunteer when you can. Help when you can. And come out and
enjoy being part of your Moose Lodge.
Together, our members can make Elizabethton Moose Lodge 360 a stronger Lodge and
make a meaningful difference in the lives of people throughout our community.
This is our community. These are our neighbors. And this is our opportunity to make a
difference.
