Back in the Day Tournament (Knoxville): The 12U Betsy Bombers won the silver bracket on Saturday at Willow Creek. Addison Malone earned MVP with base hits every at bat and scoring 3 runs on the day from the top of the lineup. Annie Pate and Amelia Whaley both went 3-for-4 with 3 runs each. Morgan Hoilman earned the victory in the silver championship game.

The 10U Bombers went 2-1 in the tournament, dropping the bracket game to a tough Thunder team. Madelynn Ross set the tempo at leadoff with 4 hits, 5 RBIs, and 4 runs. Eleni Wright and Evie Perkins earned pitching victories for the team.

🏆 SIZZLING HOT 🏆

The Betsy Bombers 10U team brough home another championship on Saturday at the Summer Sizzler in Knoxville. They went 4-0 to claim the gold bracket championship among a field of 10 teams.

The entire lineup was on fire throughout the day. Madelynn paced the bats by going 7-for-7 on the day. She also recorded 11 strikeouts from the circle to top 100 for the season. Eleni recorded 15 strikeouts on the day. Madelynn and Sandra both bashed inside-the-park home runs for the Bombers. Still, every player contributed to another big day for the Bombers.

The 12U Bombers played in Knoxville and went 1-2 on the day. They battled back to win Game 1 behind an inside-the-park smash that Elyza hit to center field to tie the game at 5. Then Olivia, as the last batter of the game, hit one to left and made it all the way around to score and win the game 6-5. Elyza hit a triple in the final game of the day. Olivia went 3-for-3 in the final game.
