Come join us Thursday and fill Procopios 🍕🎉
Do you all remember that stuffed pizza review? You know, the one from Procopio's Pizza & Pasta ? Well Procopio's does something pretty awesome on Tuesday and Thursday nights. They do fundraisers for local charities, athletic teams, and organizations as well as some individuals. They give 20% of their sales and on Thursday, June 25th, 2026, they are doing a fundraiser for the Isaiah 117 House Knox County Indiana This is an organization that I appreciate a lot with having recently had 3 adopted granddaughters that came out of Foster Care.
Isiah 117 House not only helps out kids that are going to Foster homes and of course the Foster parents, they are also often the middle man. Sometimes a kid doesn't have placement yet and they go here for a shower, clean clothes, a good meal, a place to sleep, and a lot of love from the volunteers. My family has already made a reservation for that day and it would be great to see all of you there also.
Now if your not into pizza, Procopio's has a huge selection of awesome items. I love the pork chops, the lasagna, and the chicken parmesan but everything is great. Let's make this the best sales day ever for Procopio's and one heck of a fundraiser for The Knox County Isaiah 117 House. If you can't make it and still want to give heres a link.

I would like to end with my daughter's testimonial for the local Isaiah 117 House.
"Four years ago, we opened our home to foster care. Over those four years, we welcomed children into our family during some of the hardest moments of their lives. While we recently made the decision not to renew our foster license so our adopted daughters could have time to settle, heal, and simply be kids, foster care will always hold a special place in my heart.
Throughout our journey, there were many organizations that stepped in to support us and the children who entered our home. One of those organizations was Isaiah 117 House.
When our sweet Sophia came home from the NICU, we were stepping into completely unfamiliar territory. We had never cared for a baby before, let alone an infant coming home from a NICU stay. Isaiah 117 House provided us with a beautiful duffle bag filled with everything we needed to care for her. They thought of things we didn’t even know we needed. In a season that felt overwhelming, they reminded us that we weren’t alone.
Over the years, we’ve also seen the joy they bring to children and families in our community. Our girls always looked forward to seeing them at DCS events, especially the annual spaghetti dinner where they could do crafts, play games, and have fun.
But what Isaiah 117 House does goes far beyond bags, crafts, and events.
They provide a safe, welcoming place for children who have just been removed from their homes. Imagine being a child whose entire world has changed in a matter of hours. You’re scared, confused, and unsure of what comes next. Isaiah 117 House gives those children a place filled with comfort, kindness, clean clothes, warm meals, and caring adults during one of the most traumatic days of their lives.
People often tell me, “I could never foster,” or ask how they can help children in foster care. The truth is, not everyone is called to foster, but everyone can do something.
Supporting Isaiah 117 House is one way to make a real difference. Your donation helps provide comfort, dignity, and hope to children who desperately need it. It reminds them that even in the middle of chaos, there are people who care.
If foster care is something that tugs at your heart, please consider supporting this incredible organization. You may never meet the child you’re helping, but I promise the impact of your generosity will be felt when they need it most. ❤️"
