The Fall 2026 slate for the Alice Lloyd College Alice Lloyd College Athletics golfers has been announced as Happy Valley alum Cayden Anderson Cayden Anderson starts her sophomore season. Her freshman campaign was solid with three All-Tournament finishes in nine events. Her low round came at their home course StoneCrest Golf Course StoneCrest Golf where they start the season Monday.

August 31-Sept. 1 - Maggie Mountain Invitational - Stonecrest Golf Course - Prestonburg, Ky.
September 10-11 - NCCAA Mideast Region - Hidden Cove Golf Course - Olive Hill, KY
October 11-13 - USCAA National Tournament - Kingsmill Resort Plantation Course - Williamsburg, VA
October 16-17 - Ohio Christian University Tournament - Lancaster Country Club - Lancaster, OH
October 19-21 - NCCAA National Tournament - Hammock Beach Resort Watson Conservatory Course - Palm Coast, FL
October 26-27 - Eagle Invitational - Nob North Course - Cohutta, GA

Wednesday was the final nine hole match of the season for Happy Valley High at Elizabethton Golf Course.

Jaxson Laws and Maddox Beach posted matching 47s to pace the guys. Jackson Hollifield posted a personal best on the front nine at Elizabethton and Braylen Glass used an overall personal best of 56 in his freshman campaign to complete the team scoring. Ethan Olson played competitive as well right outside the team scoring.

Brailey Ingram paced the girls by one stroke. Isabella Lopez rounded out the team scoring to beat Unaka and Johnson County. Caydence Steward also competed and continued to learn.

Next week has a pair of matches outside of Carter County to see improvements.

Wednesday the Happy Valley High Golfers had another chance to show what is possible with some outstanding performances at Elizabethton Golf Course Elizabethtongc.

The players tackled the back nine for the first time in competition as Brailey Ingram tied for low score among the ladies. She was a stroke off her season best with a 43. In just her third outing Caydence Steward matched her personal best and Isabella Lopez competed well as their score was a tie.

The Warriors won the girls’ match among the county foes with a 104, two shots better than Hampton. Unaka was next at 117. Visiting Tri-Cities Christian won overall with their 91.

Jackson Hollifield posted a personal best with a 51 and was second among the Warriors. Maddox Beach Maddox Beach paced the squad with a 49. Ethan Olson Ethan Olson and Jaxson Laws Jaxson laws posted matching 52 to round out the team scoring. The team total of 204 was good enough to best Hampton by four, but seven behind Tri-Cities Christian. Kam Oliver Kamryn Oliver was just a stroke from the top four on the team and Braylen Glass continued to show improvements in his freshman campaign.

The last Maroon Monday of the regular season turned red and yellow. The forecast did not look good so we did not make the trip to Tri-Cities. Could we have played some holes, yes, but then the storm rolled in. A practice day Tuesday is a scheduled before a trip around the back nine at Elizabethton.

The week’s slate is a bit of a change.

On Maroon Monday the squad will travel to Tri-Cities Golf Club to see host Sullivan East. It will be the last road trip for the month. Wednesday will also be a change as the Warriors are scheduled to play the back nine at Elizabethton Golf Course. Practice in between and to close the week will hopefully make us better with less than a month before the postseason.
