Hometown Help helps senior citizens and people with disabilities (my description of a disability), in Wirt County, that do not have family members living close by to assist them. We do small repairs on their homes so that they might be able to continue living in them. We do water line repairs, sewer repairs, roof leak repairs, build and/or repair wheelchair ramps,steps, porches, floors, etc...at
no cost whatsoever to the homeowner if they cannot afford to hire the repairs done. We accept donations of labor, materials, furniture, appliances, monetary,etc... Monetary donations can be made to: Wesbanco, P.O. Box 579, Elizabeth, WV, 26143. Other donations can be set up by calling 706-455-0600 to arrange for pick up or delivery. We appreciate all the donations of the past and appreciate any and all donations in the future. I have had numerous folks help us out with labor over the years and am grateful to each and every on of them for their assistance. We can help our community by helping our neighbors. Wirt County is an awesome place and can continue to be so with everyone doing just a small gesture of kindness to our fellow citizens, strangers or not. WE have a close knit community and I am personally proud to be a part of it.
