Through a partnership of the Housing Authority of the City of Elizabeth and Prevention Links, the Elizabethport Community Center provides high quality programs, services, and facilities which act as a catalyst for positive youth development and a stronger community. The Center empowers people of all ages to be actively involved in the community through involvement in educational, recreational, self-sufficiency opportunities and professional developmental.

This week, Elizabethport Community Center wrapped up our Hispanic Heritage Month celebration with our wonderful seniors!

It was a beautiful time filled with music, dancing, laughter, shared experiences, and wonderful memories. Most importantly, it was an opportunity for our seniors to come together, socialize, connect with one another, and celebrate the richness of Hispanic culture and traditions.

At Elizabethport Community Center, we believe that creating opportunities for our older adults to stay active, engaged, and connected is an important part of building a stronger and healthier community.

A special thank you to all our seniors and staff who helped make this celebration so meaningful and enjoyable!

Our Elizabethport Community Center family and members had an amazing day at the fairgrounds during Prevention Links 28th Annual Red Ribbon Day Awareness Walk & Family Fun Festival at Nomahegan Park in Cranford, NJ! ❤️🙌

It was a wonderful day filled with community spirit, togetherness, and a shared commitment to promoting prevention, awareness, and education Our youth, seniors, staff, and community members came together to support this important cause and celebrate the power of working together to build a healthier, stronger community.

A special thank you to everyone who joined us, represented Elizabethport Community Center, and helped make this day so special. We are grateful to be part of a community that continues to educate, prevent, and support one another! 🎗️❤️

Today, we continued our Red Ribbon Week celebration at Elizabethport Community Center with our amazing youth! 🎗️❤️

Our youth program was filled with positive energy, meaningful conversations, and important reminders about prevention, education, and making healthy choices. Together, we reinforced the importance of staying informed, supporting one another, and making decisions that help build a healthier future. We also continued getting ready for Prevention Links’ 28th Annual Red Ribbon Day Awareness Walk & Family Fun Festival happening this Saturday! 🙌

It was a great reminder that prevention starts with education, and that empowering our young people today helps create a stronger, healthier community for tomorrow. ❤️

A special thank you to our youth, staff, and community partners for keeping the Red Ribbon message alive and helping us make a difference, one conversation at a time.

Today, we continued our Red Ribbon Week celebration at Elizabethport Community Center with our wonderful seniors! 🎗️❤️

Our senior program was filled with connection, conversation, and community spirit as we came together to recognize the importance of prevention, education, and making healthy choices. We also took some time to celebrate and get ready for Prevention Links’ 28th Annual Red Ribbon Day Awareness Walk & Family Fun Festival happening this Saturday! 🙌

It was a beautiful reminder that prevention is for everyone, and that every generation has an important role to play in building a healthier, stronger community. ❤️

Join us for Coffee & Conversation, a bilingual family support group where families can come together in a safe, friendly environment to learn, grow, and access valuable community resources.

✨ What we offer:
🤝 A safe and welcoming space to talk and connect.
💜 Support to help strengthen families.
👥 Activities for youth ages 12–17.
🧸 FREE childcare for children ages 3–11, so parents can fully participate.

❤️ Red Ribbon Week – Day 2 ❤️

Today, Elizabethport Community Center proudly continued our Red Ribbon Week activities with a successful Knock Out Opioid Abuse Day, bringing awareness to an issue that continues to impact individuals, families, and communities. 🎗️

It was a meaningful day of education, conversation, and community awareness, reminding us that prevention starts with knowledge, open conversations, and the willingness to support one another. ❤️

A special thank you to everyone who helped make today a success and to our community partners for continuing to stand together in the fight against substance misuse and addiction.

And we’re just getting started! 🙌
