A Gateway TESTIMONY!

Meet Jasmine (name changed to protect her privacy).

Jasmine is no stranger to Gateway. Over the years, we have had the privilege of walking alongside her as she raised her three children, helping with government paperwork, offering material support, and inviting her into a church community nearby. A deep foundation of trust was built.

Recently, Jasmine discovered she was pregnant with her fourth child. Already overwhelmed by the daily realities and financial strain of raising three children, the news felt impossible to bear. In a moment of desperation and fear, she found herself standing outside the doors of Planned Parenthood in Elizabeth, actively considering abortion.

But God was already at work. As she stood there, the Holy Spirit intervened. She realized she simply could not take that step inside.

Because of the history we had built together, Gateway was her very next call. She didn't have to face the unknown. She stepped away from the clinic, picked up her phone, and came straight in.

When she sat down with one of our counselors, she poured out her heart. Together they prayed, sought the Lord, and praised Him for His protective, guiding hand.

Jasmine chose life. God moved her heart first, and your ongoing support made Gateway a trusted presence in her life long before the crisis ever came.

When a young woman walks through our doors, she is often carrying an immense burden of stress and fear. Walking into a cluttered environment only adds to that feeling of being overwhelmed. But a calm, intentional, and beautiful space communicates something completely different: You are valued. You are safe here. You can take a breath.

God provided exactly the right people to help us make this change. We owe a massive thank you to MilaRose Interiors and Deyanira Nunez for their incredible guidance and vision! But turning that vision into reality—meeting every single labor and financial need—was made possible entirely by YOUR generosity.
Because of your giving, our girls are no longer overwhelmed by their surroundings. They feel a sense of peace that encourages them to sit down, stay a little longer, and open their hearts to the care and truth we share with them.

Just as this physical space has been renewed, your ongoing partnership allows us to see hearts and lives renewed every single day at Gateway. We want to celebrate these victories with you and look ahead to what God has planned for 2026-2027!

The landscape in New Jersey has shifted dramatically, and our ministry needs your help now more than ever.

The Statistical Reality in NJ:
Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, New Jersey has seen a 21% surge in abortions. Because our state has become a destination for out-of-state travel, nearly 58,000 abortions were performed here in 2024 alone.

This is why we are here and are proud for the all the work God is doing through our volunteers and staff.
