Sewing Faith was recognized on the US Senate floor last week. A friend of ours shared this link and news of the acknowledgment. A big thanks to all the ladies who donated their time, supplies, and skills at a time when masks were scarce and the need was great. Thankfully, we are in a better place than we were when this project launched on 3/13. Blessings and good health to all.

Last of the masks out the door this week with donations to Camden Clark Medical Center, United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley, Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department MOVHD and Shriners Hospitals for Children. Due to COVID, there were many party cancellations that resulted in cancellations of cookie orders. I redirected my efforts the last 6 weeks volunteering with other mask makers to outfit medical providers in our region. Today I put away my sewing machine and delivered small tokens of appreciation to those who donated masks to Sewing Faith for distribution to medical and service organizations. My bobbins and spools are empty, but my heart is full.

We all care.... over 2,500 masks. A huge thank you to the faithful few who continue to sew and donate. After the donations later this week, I must take a break to focus on our farm and the gardens. Thank you, thank you. Stay safe.

Eryn Gray thank you for the lovely masks. Terri Cain Ohrn your donated fabric was used for masks donated to Camden Clark Medical Center. 50 masks were added to prior donations, bringing the total number of masks donated to WVU Camden Clark to 381. 🙌😷

The power of ‘GOOD’. Look at these beautiful masks! My friend Tammy Somerville Simms shared with me these photos of the masks she crafted, along with her story of how Sewing Faith has planted seeds across the country. She shared this project with friends in Charleston, Colorado, and New Hampshire, and they too are making and sharing. I shared Sewing Faith with a friend in Brooklyn and now his daughter is manufacturing masks from the back room in their Brooklyn brownstone. We are sewing Faith across WV and across the country. Blessings to you all.
