This week, IAM District 141 President and Directing General Chair Michael Klemm was in EWR meeting directly with our members.

PDGC Klemm visited break rooms and spent time with our brothers and sisters on the floor, providing updates on contract negotiations with the company and answering site-specific questions from the membership.

The conversations were productive on both sides, giving members an opportunity to hear the latest information while also raising the issues and concerns that matter most at EWR.

Also present were AGCs Mitch Buckley and Rich Creighton, Special Representative Faysal Silwany, EAP North East Region Coordinator Victor Acosta; Local 914 Grievance Committee members Ramon Baez, Will Josey, and Bill Spinner; and Local 914 Shop Stewards Toy Campbell and Christopher Williams.

Keeping our members informed, engaged, and connected throughout the process remains a priority.

IAM District 141 Local 914’s Community Service team recently delivered a generous collection of food, winter coats, reusable bags, assistance devices, and other essential items to the St. Joseph Social Service Center.

In a heartfelt letter, St. Joseph expressed its deep appreciation for the generosity, thoughtfulness, and continued support shown by Local 914 members. These donations will help provide comfort, dignity, and much-needed assistance to individuals and families throughout the community.

Special thanks to Debbie Inverno and Lee Carpenter for coordinating the collection and delivering the donated items.

We proudly thank the Local 914 Community Service team and every member who contributed. Your generosity is making a meaningful difference in the lives of others and demonstrating what union solidarity and community service are all about.

2026 IAM Women’s & Young Workers Conference

The Women’s & Young Workers Conference was held this past week at the Palmer House in Chicago. Led by IAM Women’s & Young Workers Director, Dee Colbert, the event focused on Solidarity and uplifting our IAM Women & Young Workers specifically - and your IAM Local Lodge 914 was there to be a part of it!
