Be safe!

For those unaware, there’s a fairly large vegetation fire in Southeastern Elbert County. The fire is being pushed quickly by strong winds into Lincoln County.

If you don’t have it, Watch Duty is a great app that will keep you updated on fire activity.

Any fires that start will have favorable conditions through tonight and most of the day tomorrow (strong winds, low moisture, etc…) so expect uncontrollable fire behavior on anything that starts today.

Blowing dust is also causing car crashed and lots of power outages reported. Stay safe out there!
