Albemarle Railroad Club The ARC currently has about 18 active members who maintain 3 different operating scale layouts.

The Albemarle Railroad Club (ARC) is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization located in Elizabeth City, N.C., serving model railroad hobbyists throughout the Inner Banks region of northeastern North Carolina. The Albemarle Railroad Club (ARC) is a regional nonprofit organization serving model railroaders and their associated activities, operating from our facility known as "Parker Station" located at

1051 US Highway 17 South here in Elizabeth City North Carolina. We feature an operating 7’x14’ “HO” Scale layout and a large “O/S" Gauge layout. The Albemarle Railroad Club invites anyone interested in pursuing the hobby of model railroading to contact Brian Loss at 252.340.4630 or stop by Saturdays.

ATTENTION: You have asked and we have listened to you. Today we start our summer hours for the months of June-July and August and is the first time in 25-year club history that we will be open to the public during the week.

We will be open today, Thursday 6/4/2026, from 10AM until 2PM. So, if you're in the area for a visit, stop by for a look, rekindle your past and check out the 5 operating layouts along with the many other ongoing changes to our club layouts, buildings and grounds. Hey vacationers out on the OBX, we are only a little over an hour inland if you need to get away and don’t want to deal with the weekend traffic.

As always, the admission to Parker Station is always FREE, FREE, FREE and DONATIONS are very much appreciated which go far in keeping us on track and giving back to the public.

If you have model trains that you don’t know what to do with, we except them kind of donations too!
