We’re reaching out to our wonderful community in Pasquotank County, & Gates County. If you can spare just one hour, you have the chance to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life by delivering meals to those in need.

👐 What We Need: Compassionate volunteers to help with meal delivery
📅 When:11 AM, Monday through Friday

Imagine the joy you can bring to a neighbor who might be feeling lonely or struggling. Your small act of kindness can brighten their day and remind them they’re not alone. Let’s come together to support our community!

Family, Fun, Fireworks on Friday, July 4th!

ECPC Parks and Recreation cordially invites you to join us for our annual “Family, Fun and Fireworks” event on Friday, July 4, 2025 at the Downtown Waterfront. This event will run in conjunction with ECDIs First Friday Art Walk, with festivities starting at 4PM.

This year's event features the Hampton Roads-based live band, “2nd Wynd”, delivering the best of classic soul, Motown, R&B, Pop, Country, & Top 40 hits starting at 5PM.

In addition, DJ Taz will be providing us with music & entertainment on the mic; Seven Sounds & Ghost Harbor Brewery will be serving local brews; Kin Folk Axe Throwing will be on site with free axe throwing, Swimme & Son will be featuring one of its fabulous sunroom demos.

Hometown Amusements will have our “Kids Zone” set up on the the Albemarle Museum Lawn with bounce houses, waterslides, inflatable games, & foam cannons. Visit Elizabeth City will also be hosting a kids fishing game alongside the inflatables, and a Gamer Bus will be on-site. Joy the Clown will be offering balloon animals & face painting. EC Photo Booth will be located near Mariners' Wharf Park. Take your pick of the 360-photo booth or the inflatable photo booth with custom event photos.

ECPC Splash Pads is Now Open for the 2025 Season!!
The splash pads will be open to the public from Friday, May 23, 2025, through Tuesday, September 2, 2025

To ACTIVATE a splash pad, please press down hard on the button at the top of the sensory pole. Allow a few seconds for the water to flow after activation. For issues concerning a splash pad, please contact Knobbs Creek Recreation Center for assistance at 252-335-1424. We look forward to another exciting summer at the splash pads!
