🐾 TWO DOGS NEED FOSTER, ADOPTION, OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOMES! 🐾

We are looking for the right homes for Ciroc and Anna. Both girls are spayed, current on vaccines, housebroken, and crate trained. Please read their descriptions carefully—we want to find a home that is truly the right fit for each dog. ❤️

🐶 CIROC — 3-Year-Old Beagle/Dane Mix | 26 lbs.

Ciroc is a sweet girl who loves to cuddle and, true to her Beagle side, loves using her nose and sniffing everything!

✨ Housebroken & crate trained
✨ Basic leash manners
✨ Spayed & current on vaccines
✨ Has lived in foster care with other dogs, but can be dog selective
✨ Loves affection and cuddling
✨ Does best with children 8 years and older
✨ Needs a slow feeder for meals

Ciroc does have a prey drive, so she should not live with chickens, birds, or other small prey-type animals. Her foster reports that she noticed cats but did not attempt to go after them until they ran, so any potential home with cats would need to be considered very carefully.

🐾 ANNA — 2-Year-Old Husky Mix | Approximately 40–50 lbs.

Anna is an active girl looking for a home where she can be part of the adventure! She loves car rides, hikes, baths, and playing in the pool.

✨ Housebroken & crate trained
✨ Basic leash manners and some off-leash training
✨ Spayed & current on vaccines
✨ Loves being active and going places
✨ Has done well with children age 6+ once she has time to warm up

Anna will thrive as the only dog in an active household. Although she has been around other dogs, she can be very dog selective, so we are looking for a home without other dogs.

Anna will chase cats and should not live with cats, birds, or other small prey-type animals.

Her foster also reports that Anna can be a little opportunistic—if given the chance, she may get into the trash or counter surf. 😂 We are working on those manners! She should be crated when no one is home to supervise her.

There is an adoption fee and adoption contract. Our priority is finding a safe, appropriate, lasting home for each girl.

Sorry we have been off Facebook for a while. We will post current adoptable animals in the next few weeks. Right now we are closed to intake any animals. If you need to rehome an animals we can do a courtesy post for you but if you do rehome please let us know so we can take it down.

All our spay and neuters patients are at vet and doing good. Will update once all are out of surgery.

We will have adoptable dogs available at tractor supply Jan 18,2025. Come meet all the great dogs. All have been spayed or neutered and ready to go go to their forever homes. Most are a year and up and all have basic leash manners and basic obedience. Crate trained and house broke.

Some even have adoption fees already paid through our sponsorship.

This holiday season, River City Animal Rescue is waiving ALL adoption fees to help our adorable dogs find loving homes! We have some amazing furry friends here who would love nothing more than to be home for the holidays.

While we want to help even more dogs find loving families, we can only do that if we make space for them. We're at capacity right now, so please help us by welcoming a new family member. Come for a meet and greet with any of our dogs, and we'd be delighted to chat about which one might be the perfect fit for your family.
