Our Mission:
Move Worship spreads the Gospel of Jesus Christ through excellence in live and multimedia worship, challenging and liberating messages, and highly organized and effective community service projects. We use relevant and exciting tools, in beautiful, accessible, and non-threatening environments, in order to grow a movement so central to our area that our community cannot imagine not h
aving us as a part of it. We are ants floating on a flooded ditch. The whole point is to help people, serve people, and serve this community so well that it’s impossible to imagine this community without us. There is a huge difference between “we cross the bridge” and “we are the bridge.”
WE WORK REALLY, REALLY HARD. We are on a never-ending quest for excellence in everything we do. We don’t say “that’s pretty good for church work.” And most importantly, we work hard out of loyalty and honor for the people next to us that are counting on us to bring the heat and be excellent. The minute we abandon this value, we are lost. WE ARE EQUAL. The person in the spotlight is exactly as important as the person who plugged the spotlight in. WE ARE GRATEFUL. We understand and embrace that showing gratitude for others has a real impact on the people, the community, and the world around us. We prioritize showing gratitude because we recognize how it makes us feel when people express gratitude for us and our efforts. WE ARE UNPREDICTABLE. We blow up the model. We do things differently, and today is rarely what tomorrow will look like. WE RESIST HYPOCRISY. We don’t beat our chest because we love the people YOU don’t love. We focus like a laser on loving the people WE find it hardest to love. And most importantly, we recognize that the people WE find it hardest to love are 100% and unequivocally loved by God just as much as we are. THIS IS NOT A CLUB. Maintaining is not an option. Explosive growth is commanded by Jesus. What happens inside four walls will never be as important as what happens outside of them. WE ARE BUILT TO LAST. It is not in our DNA to ever say the words “we had a good run.”
