It was a soggy day yesterday at our annual plant sale, but as they say "if you build it"....and you all came out! We are so thrilled to receive the support from our community! The proceeds go back into the town to achieve our goal of promoting flower and vegetable gardening; to support beautification of roadsides; and providing opportunities for concerted action affecting the attractiveness of Eliot as a residential community!

The Eliot Garden Club members have been busy starting to plant up the 13 containers around town! This year's theme is red/white/blue to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our great nation! Watch the plant material in your neighborhood (and around town) explode with color as they grow.
Try and guess where each one is!
Oh and if you see political signs stuck in the containers, could you move them? thank you!

In my travels down in Florida I came across the Venice Garden Club flower show! What a treat! If I am correct, part of the exhibit was Ikebana. Japanese art of arranging flowers/plant material. Kudos to that club!

The Eliot Garden Club would like to thank the community for their support of our club and in exchange we are pleased to once again decorate some of our town's treasures for the holidays! Starting with the Christmas tree at Hammond Park, the gazebo and the Fogg Library! We would also like to thank you for supporting our grapevine wreath sale a week ago, albeit it took some tough members to stand out in that frigid weather! Happy to be a part of this wonderful community!
And a special gratitude to the Rec dept for lending a hand in stringing the lights on the Christmas tree, as well as, decorating the Hammond Park so festively!
The members enjoyed a Christmas luncheon at Cocheco County Club to round out our 2025 year.

Grapevine wreaths! Cute, cute, cute!
