Best I could tell we had around 60 folks at the potluck and meeting! Great turnout!! And how bout that quilt!! For a quick recap of the meeting, Doug Bean called the meeting to order and I (Gerald) discussed the problem of old flowers and how they create a problem, and I proposed that from Labor Day to May 10th any and all flowers on the ground, not saddles and not flowers in a vase, just ground flowers, can and should be removed. It was 2nd by Charley Roberts and then voted on. 100% of everyone at the meeting voted in favor of the new rule, with zero nays. So going forward please be mindful that if there is a flower in the ground that you want to keep please plan accordingly because from Labor day to May 10th they will probably be removed. Good morning everybody! I hope everyone has made it through the winter well! I know it's short notice and please don't feel any pressure to do so, but I'm going to mow and do some maintenance around the cemetery in the morning, (Saturday morning) and if anyone would like to help I'll be there from 9am on for several hours. I'm going to strip the remaining flowers and clean sticks. Thank you and see you all soon!

Hi everyone. With the last round of storms, many flowers, saddles, limbs etc were blown around the cemetery. We couldn't tell what went where so we piled them by the dumpster. If you're missing something look there, the next time we're down there we'll toss what's still there. Big thanks to my dad, boys, wife, and brother in law John for helping me care for the cemetery while I'm still on the mend.

Hi everyone! Don't forget 12:30 tomorrow meeting and potluck! Looking at the weather forecast, I'd plan accordingly. I will not be able to make it to the meeting tomorrow, find my dad Jerry Roberts as he'll be sitting in my spot accepting donations. Also feel free to mail donations directly to the bank or to me. Hi everyone! I hope everyone is well and staying dry! We'll plan on our annual meeting and potluck this Sunday at 12:30! I've had a medical problem pop up, all is good but I'm not sure I will be there but I will make sure my report will be there. Stay tuned as the weather might give us fits.

Virgil James Lee (Jim) Roberts, 79, was born June 11, 1945 to the late Charley Roberts and Maggie Marie McGehee, and passed away on January 15, 2025 in West Plains, Missouri.

Good morning all! Well we're going to have to push our work day until after memorial day. The main problem needing addressed is there are several sunken spots that need filled. I've got a load of top soil and a skid steer lined up to help us out but we have to have it dry enough to handle the dirt. I thought we might get a window to get it done but it simply is not going to work out. Speaking of rain when I mowed last night it rained us out before we got completely done and we have a handful of rows that weren't weedeated, you'll have to forgive me. I'll announce more when it looks like we can get a work day lined up. I look forward to seeing everyone next weekend!

Happy spring everyone! I hope everyone is doing well! It's about that time of year again to give the cemetery a little attention. I'll talk to a few people to arrange a few things, and try and have a work day soon.
After mowing tonight, Waylynn and Virgil Roberts replaced the flag.
