ਦੁਬਈ ਦੀ ਰੀਸ ਨੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਵੀ tourist ਫੱਸ ਗਏ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ hotel room ਫ੍ਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਨੇ
ਉਹ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਫਿਰ ਏਅਰਸਪੇਸ ਬੰਦ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਲਾਈਟਾਂ ਰੱਦ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ। ਹਫੜਾ-ਦਫੜੀ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ, ਯੂਏਈ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਹੋਟਲ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ: ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੈੱਕ-ਆਊਟ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਅਸੀਂ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।

ਅਬੂ ਧਾਬੀ ਦੇ ਡਿਪਾਰਟਮੈਂਟ ਆਫ਼ ਕਲਚਰ ਐਂਡ ਟੂਰਿਜ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਹੋਟਲ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜਿਆ: ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਟੇਅ ਵਧਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਨਵੌਇਸ ਭੇਜੋ। ਦੁਬਈ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਾਰਨ? ਖਾੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਅਰਸਪੇਸ ਬੰਦ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਫਲਾਈਟਾਂ ਰੱਦ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ 20,000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਫਸ ਗਏ।

ਯੂਏਈ ਦੀ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਿਵਲ ਏਵੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਹਿਣ-ਸਹਿਣ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਣੇ-ਪੀਣ ਦੇ ਖਰਚੇ ਚੁੱਕ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਨਿੱਜੀ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ – ਦੁਬਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਲੀਡੇ ਰੈਂਟਲ ਫਰਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਪਾਰਟਮੈਂਟ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤੇ, ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 250 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹੋਸਟਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਕੋਈ ਪੈਨਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਸਿੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ। ਕੋਈ ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ ਦੀ ਫਰਸ਼ 'ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੌਣਾ। ਕੋਈ "ਆਪਣਾ ਬੰਦੋਬਸਤ ਕਰ ਲਓ" ਨਹੀਂ। ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਟੈਬ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਹਰ ਫਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਘਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਸੰਕਟ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਂਡਲ ਕਰਨਾ।
