The city of Elgin invites you to share your input on walking, biking and rolling improvements across the city. Tell us which projects or types of improvements you would like to see prioritized.

When: May 19, 2026, 5-7 p.m.

Where: Gail Borden Public Library, 270 North Grove Avenue, Elgin Room, second floor

Want to become a League Certified Instructor (LCI) with the League of American Bicyclists? Ride Illinois has partnered with the City of Evanston to offer a League Cycling Instructor seminar on June 5-7, 2026. The offer comes at a discounted price. We could definitely use more LCI's in Elgin and the surrounding area.

🚲 After an incredible ride serving this community, the time has come for us to hang up the helmet. The Bike Shop will be closing its doors.
🌟Fear not, Elgin Community Bikes NPO will still be around for Full Moon 🌕 rides and other events. While we plan a triumphant return in a new space, for the moment, we need to clear inventory and start fresh.
We want to go out with a bang and make sure every bike finds a home, so we’re throwing a massive Fire Sale starting right now!
