Still reflecting on the incredible time we shared at the GARBC Conference back in June!

From the hundreds of pastors and ministry leaders to the multiple learning sessions focused on strengthening our churches, we were reminded of the blessing it is to serve alongside one another.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this gathering a time of deep encouragement, connection, and spiritual growth. We’re grateful for what God did through every single day, session, and conversation, and we can’t wait to gather again next year!

Meet Jim.

Though raised by Christian parents, Jim only truly understood what a personal relationship with Jesus meant later in life.

Following marriage struggles and loneliness, he recognized God's faithful presence all along. Trusting Christ and being baptized filled him with deep gratitude and assurance.

The GARBC is grateful to highlight stories like Jim's that testify to God's transforming grace across our fellowship of churches. This testimony of God's work in Jim's life was shared by Soteria Church, a GARBC member church, and we are honored to feature how the Lord changes lives through faithful local congregations.

It’s the preaching of God’s Word on Sunday morning, but it’s also the prayer offered in the quiet, the encouragement given to a weary believer, the volunteer serving behind the scenes, and the disciple-making that happens throughout the week.

Every act of faithfulness matters. God uses His people to build His Church and advance the Gospel.

"I knew I shouldn't run from God—I needed to run to Him."

After losing a close friend, Erin realized life's fragility. Visiting Grace Baptist Church, she found community, healing, and belonging.

Listening to Run to the Father in her car, she felt her burdens lift as she anchored her heart in Jesus. Today, she confidently faces the future, trusting the promise of Isaiah 43:2:

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you..."

As a fellowship of churches, the GARBC is grateful to share stories like Erin's that remind us of God's faithfulness. Grace Baptist Church, a member church of the GARBC, shared this testimony of God's work in Erin's life, and we're honored to help amplify how the Lord is changing lives through local churches.
