Bring your bike and helmet and enjoy:

We'll also be joined by the Elgin Police Department to help teach bicycle safety and share important tips for riding safely in our community.

This event is open to all youth and families. Whether you're an experienced rider or just learning, there's something for everyone!

Troop 38 & Cub Scout Pack 38 - Elgin, IL alongside Kane County FP District helped being the pollution solution at Poplar Creek Forest Preserve last Saturday!

The scouts came out on their holiday weekend and removed over 1,000 POUNDS of trash from this natural area. This area has been used for illegal dumping, so we found construction materials, bags of clothing, food wrappers, and just about everything you could imagine.

The troop would like to thank FPDKC for their partnership. 🌳♻️🗑️

Congratulations to our newest Eagle Scouts, Luke Considine and Ryan Considine!

This week, Troop 38 proudly celebrated Luke and Ryan as they earned the rank of Eagle Scout — the highest achievement in Scouting. Their dedication, leadership, service, and years of hard work have led them to this incredible accomplishment.

We are proud of the impact they have made on Troop 38 and our community, and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the future.

Tonight, Troop 38 and Pack 38 came together at Bluff City Cemetery to honor the brave men and women who served our country by placing flags on the graves of veterans in preparation for Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

It was a meaningful evening of service and remembrance as our Scouts took time to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who gave so much for our freedom. Thank you to all the Scouts, leaders, and families who participated in this important tradition.

Yesterday, Troop 38 took action to make a difference in our community by cleaning up South Street as part of the Messengers of Peace Awards on Scouts Trash the Trash Day! 🌎💪

Our scouts worked hard and showed true leadership and teamwork—collecting an incredible 450 pounds of trash along the way!

This project not only helped beautify our community, but also reinforced the importance of service and caring for the environment.

This past Sunday, Troop 38 had an awesome Cooking Day out at Burnidge Forest Preserve!

Our Scouts put their skills to the test by cooking both breakfast and lunch, working together as teams and learning important outdoor cooking techniques. Afterward, they took on a 5-mile hike, where they also worked on identifying local plants and animals to complete advancement requirements.

It was a full day of hands-on learning, teamwork, and fun in the outdoors—exactly what Scouting is all about! 🌲🥾🔥

Great job to all our Scouts for their hard work and enthusiasm!
