Every song has a final note, and today we close a chapter that has meant so much to our organization.
After thoughtful consideration, the Elgin Master Chorale has made the difficult decision to conclude programming for the Elgin Youth Choir.
We must thank every young singer who found their voice, every family who trusted us, every volunteer who gave their time, every accompanist, conductor, donor, and supporter. Because of you, hundreds of young musicians experienced the joy of singing, built lasting friendships, and discovered the confidence that comes from making music together. Those memories will continue to resonate for years to come.
While the Elgin Youth Choir is concluding, our commitment to music education is not. As we continue to grow, we are developing new educational opportunities that will allow us to serve young singers in fresh and meaningful ways.
This isn't goodbye. It's the beginning of a new chapter.
