Reminder from the Elfin Forest Community Foundation

Grant applications are due October 15.

If your project benefits the Elfin Forest community as a whole, we encourage you to apply. That includes regular EFCF grants and our new matching grants for qualified local nonprofits raising cash donations from community members. This is a chance to strengthen local fundraising and expand community participation.

The Elfin Forest Community Foundation is short on board members. We need a director who can lead marketing and communications.

No HOA. No automatic dues. Trails, fire-safe work, and community events only keep going if neighbors fund them — and if we explain the benefit clearly.

The seat is real work: own the public voice (Giving Tuesday, flyers, website, grant stories), sit on a nine-member board, two grant cycles a year. You need to be a property owner in Elfin Forest or Harmony Grove.

If you can write plainly and organize a small campaign, send a short candidate statement via elfinforestcommunityfoundation.org or message us here.

Exciting news from the Elfin Forest Community Foundation!

We’re expanding the ways we support our community. Starting this fall, qualified local nonprofits that raise cash donations from Elfin Forest community members can apply for matching grants from the Foundation.

If you’re planning a fundraising campaign that delivers clear, broad benefits to the community as a whole—and aligns with EFCF’s mission to strengthen our rural quality of life—we encourage you to apply through our regular grant process.
This new matching-grant opportunity is designed to amplify local fundraising efforts while encouraging wider community participation.
