Make a difference in a child's life this holiday season with the gift of a good nights sleep. How you ask... We can use new twin bed in a bag, pillows, monetary donations or just your time. Visit SHPbeds.org to learn more and make a difference to ensure NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!!!!
If you or someone you know is in need of a bed for kids, visit shpbeds.org and apply. We don't share personal information with any outside organizations. Once you apply and approved, we will set up a delivery and bring the bed right to your home. The only qualifications are ages 3 thru 17 and don't sleep on a conventional bed. This includes sharing of beds. Each kid deserves to have a bed of their own and a great nights sleep.
Currently we service all of Sierra county and down the valley in Dona Ana to Rincon.

What a WONDERFUL turnout we had for our 1st Bunks Across America Build on September 6th, 2025. We had 90+ volunteers and made 51 beds. Our Lowes and community are AMAZING!!! Thank you for all who showed up to make sure NO CHILD SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN.
We appreciate all of you who support us is this wonderful journey.

We are a new NON-Profit in Sierra County and the only NM Chapter. We are always looking for help or monetary donations.

A DHS worker in Sioux City called tonight with a heartfelt request. A precious 3 year old girl was in need of a safe haven and a foster family was ready to welcome her with open arms. However, one of the requirements for placement was a bed. We had previously delivered a bed to this foster family, and when the child was reunited with their family, the bed went with them, a testament to the power of love and reunification. Tonight, time was of the essence, and the bed was needed urgently to complete the placement. A few phone calls later, Butch and Mary sprang into action, delivering the bed that will give this child a sense of safety and security in the days ahead. May this child feel the love from all the volunteers who left their fingerprints on this bed and be the start of a brighter tomorrow.
