It's been a wild couple years rebuilding my own life and moving forward to new beginnings. I hit rock bottom and got trapped in my own addiction and spiritual brokenness. I self admitted into recovery and created a foundation. 4 months into sobriety I fell almost 30ft from a building I was working on. I guess I was completely humbled in what a hardship truly is/was. I broke my arm in two spots, cracked my femur, fractured multiple ribs, had a brain bleed and concussion. I was air lifted to U of I hospital. Miraculously I made a comeback in about 4 months.
I then went on to start up my own company Rise Up Construction at the end of August 2021.
Last winter I found out my blood supply in my femur didn't take any I had to have full hip replacement. Same day I got that call I got the call my dad had stage four cancer. Through it all I stayed sober and did it with almost no pain meds. All things somewhat back to normal, I reached out to my business partner. Our hearts are still for helping people and this last Friday we got the chance to help another family. To new beginnings and serving our community.
