Our Story
We are the Seneca Highlands Aero Radio Kontrol Society, the "SHARKS", a club chartered through the community based organization, the Academy of Model Aeronautics. (AMA-2031) Our membership is made up of individuals, both young and old, that are dedicated to preserving the hobby of Radio Controlled Model aircraft.

Our flying field is located on West Eldred road, about three miles north from Rt 446 near the town of Eldred PA. The General Public and Guests are always Welcome. AMA Membership required to fly at our field after becoming a member. This organization sanctions flying fields and provides liability insurance to its membership. Club Benefits: Open Membership, Pilot Instruction/Training available, Planned Activities that include; Club Cookouts with the occasional Pilots' Raffle, Club-Only Events, Open to Public Events, Open Events with other AMA Clubs. The clubs' yearly dues structure includes youth, individual, family, and senior citizen options. Regular Club Meetings are the first Thursday of the month. During the summer months we meet at the flying field.(weather permitting) During the winter we meet at a predetermined indoor location. A monthly Club Newsletter is produced for those members not able to attend regular meetings.
