The GFWC Illinois 25th district held their annual convention Saturday, March 14th in Eldorado.. The 25th district includes the Eldorado Woman's Club, The Herrin Woman's Club, The Anna/Jonesboro Woman's Club and the Marion Woman's Club.
Our club celebrated our 100th year of service!

It was day filled with friendship, awards, great memories and lots of fun..
There was even a special presentation to Wanda Burklow, President of the Eldorado club, of an award honoring her name and service.
Special thanks to Mayor Rocky James for the opening and to Linda Byassee, President of the Marion Club, for the program. Thank you to all who came to celebrate with us!

Anyone having a princess party for a special someone? If so, the Eldorado Woman’s Club is getting rid of some items. They are asking for a donation on these items. Please look for pictures and donation amount in the comments. Who are the Eldorado Woman’s Club? We are dedicated volunteers working to better the lives of our neighbors, make towns safer and more beautiful, and extend the hand of support and Friendship to individuals near and far. We are dedicated to community improvement. What do we do? We shape programs and projects that suit local communities and interests, while benefiting from the expertise and support at district, state, regional and national levels. Some of our focus areas; domestic violence awareness and prevention, advocacy for children, arts, conservation, education, home life, public issues and international outreach. We also give out a EHS scholarship. Please consider some of the items. If you are interested in joining our group, please contact me. Thanks
