This year the Eldora Area Ambulance Foundation adopted an area family for Christmas! 🎄 We hope this brings so much joy and comfort to this family. We surely enjoyed doing it ❤️

Last week Eldora EMS Director Nicky Rowson, and EEAF Vice President Emily Crosley went to see our neighbors at Quakerdale and meet Executive Director of the Quakerdale Foundation Robert Talbot.

The Quakerdale Foundation kindly donated to the EEAF and our continued goals of providing the best possible care to everyone we serve.

The Quakerdale Foundation’s motto is to “Serve as Christ Serves” with their misson “We enlist, enable, and empower everyone to make an impact through their personal gifts, talents, interests, skills, and resources.”

The Eldora Area Ambulance Foundation was able to purchase a Lucas device in the past with help from grants and community fundraising. A Lucas device provides high quality chest compressions to a patient in need of CPR, allowing EMS providers to attend to other needs, like breathing for that patient and administering life saving medications. With recent changes, The Eldora Area Ambulance Foundation was able to sell a Lucas device to Union Ambulance. (All of Eldora’s ambulances will still be equipped with a Lucas device.) We are proud to work closely with our friends in Union and of the incredible work they do! 🚑

We’re at the Pine Lake Festival at Twister Park! We have $2 Carblis and $1 beer and a GREAT DJ! Come hang out and enjoy this beautiful day. Proceeds from the beverage garden are being split between the EMS, PD, and Fire foundations 🚒🚑🚓
