We are giving you an exclusive sneak peek at some of the delicious, kid-friendly goodies packed in the first meal bag of the summer at the Hornet Food Wagon.

Our first Hornet Food Wagon distribution is happening soon! Join us on Thursday, July 9 from 3:00pm-4:00pm at the Elcho Area Community Food Pantry (N11224 Antigo St.). Every child aged 18 and under is eligible to receive a weekly bag of 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches. No income restrictions or registration required.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!

We are counting down the days until the return of the Hodag Food Wagon for summer 2026! Our first distribution is Thursday, July 9 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Rhinelander Area Food Pantry (627 C**n St).

The Hodag Food Wagon offers free weekly meal bags for kids and teens 18 and under. No registration is required. First come, first served. Adults may sign up to be a proxy to pick up meal bags intended for children. This is a non-congregate meal site of the Summer Food Service Program made possible by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
