MA Center Chicago This is the official page of MA Center Chicago, the Chicago ashram of Amma M.A. Center Chicago is located in Elburn, IL, a far west suburb of Chicago.

Formerly known as Broadview Academy, the Center (ashram) is spread over 140 acres. Center Chicago serves as the hub of Amma’s charitable, educational, and spiritual activities in the Midwest, conducting spiritual activities regularly, including prayer sessions, guided meditation, spiritual discourses, green initiatives, and youth programs.

Spring is in full bloom at MA Center Chicago. It was a blessing to come together last Saturday for our Spring Renewal Retreat. The day was filled with so many gifts, including a Homa for World Peace and Mother Nature led by Swamini, bhajans with Swami Dayamritananda Puri, and an Amrita Yoga session that invited us to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with ourselves.

The program also included a Q&A with Swamiji, during which he shared stories of how this property was found - a reminder that we are so fortunate to have MA Center Chicago for 14 years and counting. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey as residents, volunteers, visitors, and friends.

Last month, we shared that George and Gertie had returned to MACC and that we'd rebuilt their favorite nesting island just for them. Now, the sweetest update: two goslings have hatched! 🐣 They're soaking up every lesson life has to offer - sipping from the pond, watching Gertie glide through the water and trying to follow her lead, and waddling home at the end of a big day to snuggle in safe and warm. Welcome to the world, little ones. 🪿💛
