24x7 drop-off's at the Elburn Community Center - 525 N. Main St. There is a collection box inside the vestbule, at the side entrance off of the parking lot.

Bundle up, Kane County! We are expecting extreme cold temperatures this week. Beginning tonight, wind chills will plummet to -20 to -30 degrees below zero.

Dress in layers if you need to be outside for any length of time.
Keep a full tank of gas and emergency blankets in your car.
Check on neighbors and friends.

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists families with energy-related utility bills (like natural gas, electric, propane, etc.). It is an income based program, and provides a one-time lump sum payment directly to the applicants utility bill once per program year (Oct 2024 to Aug 2025). Applicants only need to provide their bills, proof of income (or zero income) for adults, and social security cards for all household members. For more information, contact Community Contacts, Inc., the Kane County LIHEAP administering agency.

We are deeply thankful for the individuals & businesses in Elburn & our surrounding communities, who give so generously. Not just during the holidays, but throughout the year. Your care for our neighbors keeps our pantry going & we appreciate you more than words can say!

🎅🏻 He’s making a list, and checking it twice, so be sure to get those letters to Santa’s elves in time for Christmas!

From now until Christmas Eve, you can get a message straight to the North Pole by dropping your letters at our special holiday mailbox located outside J&R Herra Home Studio under the pergola off of Main Street 💌 And for every letter we mail, J&R Herra and will donate $1 to the Elburn Food Pantry.

You can also write your letters to the big guy at the Elburn Christmas Stroll TONIGHT from 4-7pm by stopping in J&R Herra Home Studio!
