Weโ€™re thrilled to launch the โ€œAt Your Sideโ€ Small Business Grant Program with Brother Office USA to support small businesses in Main Street communities across the country! The program will help brick-and-mortar small businesses in designated Main Street districts as they work to adapt to COVID-19 and prepare for the next phases of reopening across the country, while also helping to revitalize and strengthen older and historic commercial corridors.

Grants of $5K - $10K will be awarded on a competitive basis. Applications will open at 11am CST on Thursday, January 21 and continue to be accepted through Thursday, January 28 at 6:59pm CST. Learn more at mainstreet.org/brother.

Today we celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Elbert Memorial Hospital!

On September 25, 1950, EMH admitted our first patient. We are grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community and feel fortunate to care for our community members for 70 years!

We would also like to recognize and thank the EMH Auxiliary Members (50th Anniversary) and EMH Foundation Board Members (25th Anniversary) who have given their time and service.

Grant Opportunity! As we have seen first-hand, COVID-19 has put enormous strain on small businesses in rural communities throughout the United States. Thanks to generous funding from Lowe's Home Improvement, Rural LISC is offering Small Business Relief Grants of up to $20,000 to help these rural small businesses โ€“ the lifeblood of rural America โ€“ stay afloat.

Weโ€™re thrilled to launch a new small business grant program with The Hartford! The HartBeat of Main Street will fund solutions that help small business owners respond and adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic, and also help to revitalize and strengthen older and historic downtown commercial districts. Grants of $5,000 to $15,000 will be awarded to support brick-and-mortar businesses in commercial districts as they enter the next phases of reopening across the country.

Applications open today and will continue to be accepted until 11:59pm PT Sunday, August 23 or until 500 applications have been submitted, whichever is sooner. A minimum of 50 percent of grants will benefit diverse-owned businesses, as defined by the Small Business Administration as minority, woman, veteran, disabled, and/or LGBTQ-owned.
