This year has been a year for adding to our department. On Thursday, we purchased a fire/rescue boat from Lillian Fire Rescue. It’s been a purchase we have been needing for a while with the area of coast line we cover in our area. Also pictured, is one of our command trucks that was purchased back in April of this year from FDIC that Assistant Chief Schoetzow and Deputy Chief Montgomery were able to attend. This vehicle is equipped with various different tools for various different calls that we run and will also be used for the command post for calls in our area.

Thank you to the additional agencies Lillian Fire, Medstar, Alabama State Troopers, Baldwin County Ema and the Spring Branch neighborhood for helping.

Tanker Task Force - When initiated in our area, every department south of Interstate 10 gets dispatched and all available tankers go in route to the designated area.

Today, Tanker Task Force was initiated by Gulf Shores Fire and Rescue for a fire in the Gulf State Park. Our department and several others were on scene for the quickly spreading fire.

Even though we are our own departments, we are also one big family that helps when needed

🚨 Josephine Community, We need your help! 🚨

We recently discovered that someone has been syphoning fuel out of our responding vehicles that have been parked outside due to the county repaving our parking lot. It is an important thing for us to have our vehicles filled with fuel at all times to ensure we can respond to our calls as quick as we can. If anyone knows anything or saw anything, please reach out to our page.

Out with the old.. In with the new! 🤩

On February 28th, we were able to pick up our new rescue/mini pumper from Sunbelt Fire that will be replacing our old one. To help us commentate this amazing opportunity for us, we would love to ask the community to join us in our push in ceremony that will be held on April 18, 2026 at 9 am at the fire station following our annual meeting that will be held at the Josephine Baptist Church.
