Camp Cortlandt Dietler

Camp Cortlandt Dietler Camp Dietler is the Denver Area Council's "back to basics" camp. Scouts pitch their own tents, cook their own meals, and work as a team all week long!

Camp Dietler is a patrol-based Boy Scout camp at Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch, part of the Denver Area Council's summer camping programs. As the sun rises and the world slowly starts to come to life, the sound of sizzling bacon on a camp stove can be heard throughout Camp Dietler as cooks from various patrols prepare breakfast. Scouts here focus on different goals, and troops who believe summer cam

p is an opportunity to do more than earn merit badges frequent this little slice of paradise. From challenges designed to strengthen patrol bonds, to camp-wide themed survival outpost nights, Camp Dietler is where boys master outdoor fundamentals, grow leadership abilities, and build character.

(It's actually true! The new flagpole was installed in 2012, and the staff wrote "gullible" and a few messages on top before putting the flagpole up)
