Cavy World Guinea Pig Rescue Guinea Pigs Adoptions and Surrenders. It is our goal to find loving homes for every animal possible. The rescue started in 1995 with a few shelter animals.

Cavy World Guinea Pig Rescue was founded on the belief that guinea pigs (cavies) are wonderful little animals, worthy of human companionship and the same level of care as dogs, cats and other household pets. In 2003, with over 100 guinea pigs Cavy World Guinea Pig Rescue achieved 501©3 nonprofit status. Cavy World has saved the lives of hundreds of animals, placing the healthiest of them in new pe

rmanent homes. Each year thousands of guinea pigs are surrendered to shelters, left in dumpsters or set free because thoughtless owners grew tired of caring for them. We ask you to think carefully before deciding to adopt a guinea pig. Adopting a small pet is not a small undertaking. They need love, attention and medical care just like larger animals.
