ESPW Gearing UP!
As we close out our 2017-2018 season having started a successful cheer Challenger squad, our Mitey Mite football winning the Southern California Conference championship and going to regionals, our P*e Wee cheer squad winning back to back JAMZ National Championships, and our Jr. P*e Wee cheer squad placing 2nd at JAMZ, we are gearing up for 2018-2019. There is much that goes on in the off season.
We painstakingly do inventory of gear that has a schedule we impose for reconditioning, a safety measure to provide the highest quality equipment for our players. We work on fund raising events, ask community members to make charitable donations to help us with helmet/shoulder pads reconditioning and to provide funds to pay for our field use and referees. We pay taxes, participate in many community events, coordinate registration events, an plan for the entire season that includes our annual Breaking Bread.
Breaking bread is the first meal of the season we have together as ESPW with the ESHS freshman football team and the ESHS cheerleaders. This dinner reminds us that we have much to be thankful for and we have such a connection to our community.
None of our seasons would be for it not for the countless hours given by a small number of volunteers. Without them your child would not have the great experience they do.
