GFWC El Portal Woman's Club The GFWC El Portal Woman's Club is a civic, charitable, educational, literary and social club located in the beautiful Village of El Portal.

This club shall promote and support the community service tradition of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) and the GFWC Florida Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC Florida) to which it belongs.

Today is International Women’s Day! We celebrate women every day. Women’s clubs have been instrumental in our communities throughout the United States since the late 1800s. Creating sidewalks streets neighborhoods libraries and legislating to vote. It’s not just one day. It’s every day for us. Internationally we are located in many countries. Biggest goal now is assisting the finding for the building of a Woman’s Museum in DC!! ❤️ ✨

#2016 ❤️
2016 marks our 10 year anniversary of being a reinstated club! We are so very proud to have been a pillar in the community, creating events for our neighbors that engage and inspire them to interact and have fun! We are proud to be a part of a Fl Federation District 11 who shaped and created the Everglades National Park. On 2016, celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the park along our sister district clubs. We fundraised for Pancreatic Cancer, hosted a gala, participated in a battle between the 3 Villages and Caroled Through the Village. It was a very rewarding 2016.
