💙🧡 **ONE DAY LEFT OF EARLY GIVING — EL PASO, THERE'S STILL TIME TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!** 🧡💙
Today marks the final day of Early Giving for **El Paso Giving Day 2026**, and I want to take a moment to speak from the heart.
When we started this campaign, Reconnecting with the Disconnected (RWTD) set an ambitious goal of raising **$25,000** to help us continue empowering youth, supporting veterans, and creating opportunities throughout our community.
Thanks to the generosity of **Marathon Petroleum**, we were also given an incredible opportunity to receive up to **$10,000 in matching funds**.
But as we approach the end of Early Giving, I have to be transparent.
**We have not reached our fundraising goal, and we have not yet raised enough community donations to fully utilize the matching opportunity.**
Is it disappointing? Of course.
But here's what I want everyone to understand:
💙 **OUR MISSION DOES NOT BEGIN OR END WITH A FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN.**
The young people we mentor still deserve opportunities to grow, lead, and discover their potential.
The veterans and individuals we support still deserve dignity, stability, and a pathway toward a better future.
The neighborhoods we serve still deserve people willing to show up, roll up their sleeves, and make a difference.
**And RWTD will continue showing up.**
We've watched students become leaders, young people give back to their communities, and volunteers come together to accomplish things that once seemed impossible.
We've seen firsthand what happens when someone believes in another person's potential.
And that is worth fighting for.
❤️ **BUT TODAY, WE STILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY.**
There is still time to make a donation during Early Giving, and every eligible contribution can help us put Marathon Petroleum's matching commitment to work.
Whether it's **$10, $25, $50, $100, or more**, your contribution can help us move closer to our goal.
And if you cannot give financially, I'm asking you for something just as meaningful:

Share it with your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, fellow veterans, business owners, and community organizations.
Tag someone who believes in investing in our youth.
