That’s right: it’s officially been one year of BRF. Over the past year, we’ve distributed over 285,000 pounds of food and resources, provided roughly 1.1 million meals to our Borderland community through the rescue pantry, walk up food pantries, and public library pet pantries.

May Spayathon with was a success!🥳❤️🐾

Last week, 138 pets were spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated over three days.🥹

Thank you to our community for showing up, to staff and volunteers for all their hard work, to our amazing food donations from Gabi, and for making it all possible.

We hope to have another event later this summer, so if you missed this event, keep on eye out for updates!

May the Fourth be with you! 🌌 We’re feeling extra thankful for the amazing partnerships that help us bring a galaxy far, far away right to our community.

During our most recent Rescue Pantry pickup, we distributed these Star Wars toys and provided over 16,000 pounds of food and goodies to local animal welfare organizations in a single day! 🤩

Thank you for the incredible donation to our Pet Pantry program!

Teamwork makes the dream work! A massive thank you to the Kiwanis Aktion Club of El Paso for coming out to the BRF earlier this week!

We had an incredible time teaming up with these amazing volunteers to get our Pet Pantry food bags ready for the community.

Thanks to their hard work, we’ve got bags filled and ready for local families in need. We love seeing our community come together for the love of pets!

3000 pounds of food and 430 served pets later! 😮‍💨🐾 We had a great turnout yesterday at our walk up pet food bank. In just 2 hours, hundreds of pets were provided bags of food thanks to our Pet Pantry Initiative!

Get ready, El Paso! Before the Festival Chamizal kicks off, the Borderland Rescue Fund is hosting a special pre-party to make sure our community’s furry friends are fed.

We’re hosting a FREE, walk-up pet food bank right at the Chamizal Community Center.
When: Saturday, April 18
Time: 9:00AM–11:00AM (food distribution)
Where: 2119 Cypress Ave

Food supplies are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so we recommend arriving early! Once the pantry wraps up, stick around and enjoy the rest of the festival from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

It’s going to be a beautiful day of community, resources, and fun. We’ll see you there!

March was one for the books! 🐾🤩 This past month, we saw the power of our community in action. Because of your support, we were able to:

- Distribute 20,000 pounds of food: 10,000 pounds through our public Pet Pantries, and another 10,000 pounds to our hardworking local animal welfare organizations!!!

- Help get 450 El Paso pets spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped through Spring Spayathon!!!

We’re just so excited!! This is what El Pasoans helping El Pasoans looks like.🥹

Every donation and every share helps us keep these programs running. We are so grateful for this community, but the work doesn’t stop here! We have a packed calendar for April and big plans for the summer. 👀
