Yesterday at the El Paso Chamber of Commerce legislative agenda session, education and workforce alignment came up.
The message was clear: our community and state colleges are aligned in many ways, but there are still major gaps in the public school system when it comes to preparing students for workforce demands and industry standards.
That part is true.
But at Top Tier Project Services, we believe the conversation has to go further.
The gap is not only in public schools.
Colleges have to be challenged too.
Too many education pathways still move too slowly, cost too much, and teach models that do not match the speed of work today. By the time some students reach the content they actually need, the market has already shifted.
Meanwhile, professional training in areas like project management, Lean Six Sigma, AI, cloud, logistics, and operations can be completed in weeks and applied immediately.
That matters.
Because workforce development should not only be about earning credits.
It should be about building skills, applying them, proving capability, and moving people into real opportunity.
Learn the skill.
Earn the credential.
Apply it through work, volunteering, projects, internships, or client delivery.
Build proof while you keep moving.
That is the model we believe in.
Changing American education means challenging the status quo.
It means looking honestly at time, money, outcomes, completion rates, placement rates, and whether our systems are truly preparing people for work.
Go look at the ETPL performance reports.
Look at what was paid.
Look at what was achieved.
Look at what actually moved people into opportunity.
No more games.
TTPS is building in this lane through practical training, job readiness, AI workforce development, project management, ETPL-aligned pathways, and proof of concept.
If you are serious about workforce, education, or regional economic development, tap in.
