One year ago, Paso a Paso Diabetes Initiative began with a mission: to make meaningful, comprehensive diabetes care accessible to our community. ❤️

What a first year it has been!

We established our first Board of Directors, welcomed our first patients into the program, launched our inaugural 5K fundraiser, and watched our community come together to support a mission we deeply believe in.

And we’re just getting started.

We invite you to celebrate our 1-year anniversary and ribbon cutting on November 28th! Join us as we reflect on our first year, recognize the people who made it possible, and look ahead to everything still to come. We’ll also have a silent auction and more details to share soon.

To every patient, volunteer, board member, sponsor, donor, runner, and supporter who has believed in Paso a Paso: thank you for helping us take these first steps. ❤️👣

Thank you to everyone who helped make the inaugural Paso a Paso 5K Run/Walk to End Diabetes a tremendous success! We are grateful to our participants, volunteers, sponsors, board members, and community partners who came together to support diabetes prevention and healthier lives in El Paso. Your enthusiasm, generosity, and commitment made this event truly special. We are proud of what we accomplished together and look forward to making an even greater impact in the years ahead. We can't wait to see you at next year's 5K!
