Please stay clear of the El Paso County Court House and surrounding buildings due to a suspicious package. All floors have been evacuated. Please avoid the area. This is a fluid situation and I will update with any new pertinent information.

Look who came to see me! Shadow… aka thug snubs. This guy is something else!!!

Good morning Northeast Neighbors!

Phillip and I have been out the last couple of days picking up campaign signs. We are trying to get every single one of them, but it's just the two of us handling the cleanup!

See a sign that needs to come down? Please drop a comment or send me a direct message with the location.

Have one at your house? Let me know and I will personally come by and grab it.

Thank you all so very much for your incredible support throughout this journey!

Good evening, Northeast neighbors! Tonight, the voters have sent a clear message about the future of our precinct. I stand here with a heart full of gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility. You have placed your trust in me to serve as your next Justice of the Peace, and I promise you this: I will work every single day to earn that trust.

I want to thank my opponent, Mr. Brian Haggerty, for a hard-fought race. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to put your name on a ballot, and I wish him and his family the very best. To my family—Ashley, Isaac, and Neftali—my team, and every volunteer who stood at the polls and believed in this mission: I salute you. You are the real heroes. Your hard work and dedication have brought us to this moment; thank you for believing and fighting for me.

To those who voted for me, thank you for your faith—this victory is yours. To those who did not, please know that I am committed to being a judge for all of Northeast El Paso. The campaign is over, and the time for division is behind us. We are one community, and our goal is the same: a fair, efficient, and compassionate justice system that treats every person with dignity, always tempering justice with mercy. When you as an individual succeed, we all succeed.

Now, the real work begins. We have heard the concerns of our neighbors, and we know the challenges ahead. It is time to roll up our sleeves, rebuild our connections, and get to work. Whether it is getting our youth back on track or righting wrongs of the past, we have a lot to do. My door will be open, and my focus will be on serving this court with the integrity, knowledge, and experience you deserve. We aren't just moving into an office; we are moving our community forward.

I have lived in this community for over thirty years, and I have never been prouder to call the Northeast my home. I have dedicated my life to fighting for those who could not fight for themselves and enhancing the quality of life for my neighbors; I am honored to continue that mission from the bench.
Let’s get to work for a better, stronger Precinct 2. I look forward to meeting you all at the upcoming June 17th Northeast Hope Coalition meeting at the Veterans Park pavilion and answering any questions you may have .

Thank you, and God bless you all!

Northeast Neighbors! Today is Election Day, and the stakes for Northeast El Paso are high.

When we talk about what we are fighting for, it isn't just politics—it’s about making sure our local justice system actually serves our community. We are fighting for true court accessibility, so every single person gets a fair and equitable hearing. We are fighting for meaningful truancy reform that addresses the root of the problem and keeps our kids on the right path, rather than just pushing them through the system. And we are fighting for absolute transparency, because you deserve to know exactly how your local courts operate.

This means:

True court accessibility: Court hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a live person answering the phones.

Lowering wedding fees: Adjusting fees to match the county.

Real truancy reform: Working with programs that hold children accountable while helping them address the issues they are dealing with. Holding parents accountable and helping them be the parents their children need.

Clearing the backlog: Eliminating the 23,000-case backlog that exists under the current administration.

Real animal advocacy: Our pets don’t have a voice. We need a Justice of the Peace who handles animal calls.

The decisions made by your Justice of the Peace directly impact our neighborhoods, our families, and our youth.

National races get all the headlines, but local elections are the ones that shape our daily lives here at home.

If you want a Precinct 2 that prioritizes fairness, experience, and community-driven solutions, a person who actually listens to your problems, your voice has to be heard at the ballot box.

Please take the time to vote tomorrow. Let’s bring real change to our courts!

Your voice and your VOTE matter more than ever. Whoever wins today will be the next Justice of the Peace for the Northeast. Vote for Change.

~Christie
