In the auditorium, experience “Seasons” by El Paso Ballet Theatre, a beautiful display of discipline and artistry, alongside the powerful and accessible performances of El Paso Opera. Be inspired by the rising energy of The Small Things—young artists already making waves—and the dynamic, movement-based presentation “Find Your Flow” by Dr. Tiffany Tajiri, blending psychology, dance, and self-expression. 🎭🎶

In the Blackbox Theatre, dive into impactful storytelling with Homesick by Valeria Contreras, a powerful film from Femme Frontera: Ternura Radical by Celina Galici, and a tribute to the extraordinary legacy of Rosa Guerrero, honoring her lifelong impact on cultural awareness and the arts. 🎬

✨ Introducing Our Final 2026 ChangeMakers Honorees ✨

Stacey Hunt Spier 🌟
Community advocate and longtime volunteer Stacey Hunt Spier has spent more than two decades supporting organizations that strengthen the El Paso region. Representing the Hunt Family Foundation, she works closely with community funders and serves on the boards of the El Paso Art Museum Foundation, Paso del Norte Community Foundation, and El Paso Opera, where she previously served three terms as Chairman of the Board. Her dedication to arts and community leadership has earned her both the National Trustee Recognition Award and the prestigious Maestro Award from the El Paso Opera.

Rachelle Thiewes 💍
Internationally recognized metalsmith and artist Rachelle Thiewes creates jewelry and sculpture exploring movement, form, and sound. Her work is held in major museum collections including the Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and the Art Institute of Chicago. A National Endowment for the Arts Visual Artist Fellow and 2023 Master Metalsmith, Thiewes also spent decades teaching and mentoring artists at UTEP.

Janace Walker – JunkDredz 🎨
Multidisciplinary creative Janace Walker, known as JunkDredz, blends visual art, storytelling, and community engagement through work rooted in Afrocentric influence and bold self-expression. As both an artist and curator, they create platforms that uplift emerging talent and celebrate cultural identity while inspiring others to own their narrative.

Bobbie Welch 🎶
For nearly fifty years, Bobbie Welch has helped shape the El Paso music scene—from the early days of punk rock to booking major concerts including U2’s Zoo TV Tour at the UTEP Sun Bowl. Today, as Vice-President of the El Paso International Music Foundation, she continues to champion local musicians and advocate for sustainable careers in music.
